Visions Optical’s highest priority is the health and safety of our patients, customers, employees and professionals. As we play an important role in the health sector by having a large network of optometrists and opticians to provide eye health services to the population, our stores remain open.
Safety measures in our stores
To support the current collective worldwide efforts and to make sure our stores always remain safe environments for everyone, we have implemented the most stringent measures to limit the spread of COVID-19:
- All devices and equipment are disinfected after each use;
- The cleaning frequency of our stores has been increased significantly;
- Our frames are disinfected before and after each use, and regularly throughout the day;
- We have tissues and antiseptic wipes available for your convenience;
- All our employees and optometrists are made aware of the risks and recommendations associated with COVID-19 and are adjusting their activities to limit their risks, both within the workplace and at home.
If you have an appointment
To ensure the safety of all our patients and customers, we will be asking a few simple questions at the start of your visit in order to evaluate the risks you have been exposed to recently with regards to COVID-19. If for any reason we believe it is better to delay your appointment by a couple of weeks, it will be our pleasure to do so. If you display any of the symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, please contact your store in advance to rearrange your scheduled appointment.
Reducing the need to come to store
For contact lenses wearers who would like to renew their supply, you do not need to come to store. As long as your prescription is valid, simply contact your store and they will take your order over the phone and arrange for it to be delivered directly to your home.
Also, for those who purchase ophthalmic glasses in our stores, we have the possibility of pre-adjusting your frame during your first visit and to ship it directly to your home, saving you the need to come back to collect them. If the adjustment requires fine tuning, of course, you will be welcomed to come back and seek further adjustments by our opticians.
